Providing Support and Opportunities

MPAC and Obsessions Gifts gives opportunities to persons with a disabilities to better understand their talents and potential.   Statistics have shown a higher rate of unemployment or underemployment with persons on the Autism Spectrum. (See statistics below for unemployment and employment rate.)  It also should be noted there is a lower job retention rate among persons with Autism due to social communication deficits.  Currently more employers are beginning to hire persons with disabilities.   We want to offer opportunities to enhance employment and entrepreneurship.

On a personal note, Obsessions was created to provide an opportunity for enhanced communication and leadership skills for my daughter. I saw how beneficial it was for my daughter and we then started MPAC to offer opportunities to others.
