Come learn about the mission of MPAC Founder, Betty Proctor, as she welcomes you to the launch of the non-profit MPAC (Motivating People through Arts and Crafts). This intimate event will feature a gallery and tour of Obsessions Gift Shop and conversations centered around those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Communications Disorders.

WHEN: December 5, 2020 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Background: Obsessions Gift Shop owner, Betty Proctor, founded the non-profit MPAC (Motivating People through Arts and Crafts) with the vision to provide a space where persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Communication Disorders can learn employment, social, and life skills. Proctor intends to garner opportunities for financial independence, increase in job retention by employing persons with ASD to develop leadership, social, and life skills that reduce anxiety. The project serves ages 12 to 21 in the Greater Tallahassee area into the Big Bend Region.
